Photoguy.net was developed 2 years ago to assist our
clients in selling their photography online. This is not
a Photo sharing website. Its goal is to generate sales
for our clients. Photoguy is popular among photographers
who shoot Sports, Weddings, Portraiture, Dance, PR, and Special Events. We also have many organizations such
as schools and charities that use photos from their events
to generate extra income. Everyone is welcome!! |

If
selling
your
photography
is what
you want
to do
then you
have
come to
the
right
place. The idea behind this website is that once you have photographed and
submitted
your files to us for uploading, you are done and ready to move on to the
next
client.
Photoguy handles all other aspects of displaying, selling, credit card and
order
processing, and all aspects of customer service. It is extremely rare that
you
would
hear from us about an order unless your customer is trying to request
something
that
you
don't
offer on
your
pricelist.
We go
out of
our way
to be
sure
that we
keep
your
customer
happy
and make
every
effort
to
process
orders
quickly
and
accurately.
Our
goal is
to free
you the
photographer
from the
time
consuming
tasks of
order
processing
and
fulfillment.

Here
is what
is
REQUIRED
to get
started:
1) NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS, & PHONE NUMBER.
2) STATE SALES TAX NUMBER.
(If you don't have one we withhold the
tax and
remit it
to the
comptroller)
3) PRICE LIST.
(If you don't have a price list
I can
setup up
a list
for you.)
4) ALL EVENTS FOR UPLOAD NEED TO BE SUBMITTED ON IBM FORMATED CDs OR DVDs.
5) FILES SHOULD BE ROTATED INTO PROPER POSITION.
6) FILES SHOULD BE EDITED FOR QUALITY AND SALABILITY.
( If its a crappy picture it won't sell
so don't
waste
your
time
)
7) CARE SHOULD ALSO BE GIVEN TO FILE ADJUSTMENT.
( Proper density and color
balance
will
help
your
sales.
if
you
don't
have the
proper
tools to
make
these
adjustments
please
let us
know so
that we can perform at least a global adjustment to the
files to
improve
them.)
8) PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DESIRED EVENT NAME AND PASSWORD FOR YOUR EVENT
WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR IMAGES.
( Event names can be setup in advance
if you
would
like. We
have a
PSD file
with
instructions, that you can use, edit, and print 4 up on
a 8.5x11
sheet of
paper.
After a quick trip to Kinkos for photo copies and
cutting
you will
have a
handout
to
advertise your gallery. You then use it when you shoot
at the
event to
hand out
to
potential buyers. This small gesture helps increase the
number
of
people
who will
visit your gallery and will significantly improve your
sales.)
9) FINALLY, THE IMAGES THAT YOU SUPPLY TO US ON DISC MUST BE FULL RES
"MAXIMUM QUALITY JPEG" OR "TIF". FOR STORAGE PURPOSES WE
PREFER
JPEGs!
( The files on your disc are not only
used for
uploading
but will
be put
on file
at the
lab to fulfill orders placed from your
gallery.)

Here
is a
breakdown
of what
we
charge
for our
services:
Remember we will handle all aspects of customer service for you. Customers
will no
longer be pestering you for print orders and you can concentrate on
shooting
and
finding
more photo jobs. Our attitude is to do everything we can to make your
customer
happy.
1) There is no charge for uploading, downloading or bandwidth.
2) There is no charge for server file space and we set no limit to the
number
of
galleries
you have us post.
3) Shipping is charged to your client when they place an order and since
we pay
for the
shipping with our US postal account we collect
the
shipping
fees.
4) Sales tax is remitted to you the photographer. If you haven't
supplied
us with
a tax
number we will submit the tax to the state
comptroller.
5) The cost of prints is deducted from the grand sales total at the end of
each
month.
6) A credit card discount charge of 3.5% is deducted from the grand total
each
month
to pay the credit card companies for their
services.
7) That's it. There are no other charges. On the 5th of each month you
will
receive
an
email with a breakdown of the charges and a
detailed
report
of all
sales
made
through Photoguy.net website the previous month. In addition, you
will
receive
a
hard copy of
the details with your check, which will be post marked
by
the 7th
of the
month. If your sales are proven to exceed $1000.00 per month
you will
be
switched
to a Bi-monthly payment plan.
